The Hornet Nest

Returning north has been a thirty degree challenge. It's one that we're not adapting to very quickly. And as we're layering-up and settling in don't we discovered a rather large hornet nest attached to our little Japanese Maple tree on the front lawn. I've never seen one quite this large and have called in the professionals as I'm deathly allergic to bee stings. It'll be showdown time come Friday morning. More to come I'm sure.
