Wednesday: Sanctuary

A very wet day, temperature around 6°C.
Making a cup of tea late morning and looking through the kitchen window, saw a movement and was so pleased to see a very large pheasant. He didn’t look too happy but was busy scratching about at the soil and pecking, presumed he was finding something interesting to eat. MrD was very considerate towards the pheasant too, moving around quietly so as not scare him. We thought the pheasant was keeping well away from The Shoot :-)
It’s stopped raining a while ago, I went outside to look at the stars and I could hear the sea, wind coming from that direction!
