Winter warmer.

A miserable day with frequent heavy showers driven on by a blustery wind. Luckily with the fence repairs completed, it was a day to turn to indoor jobs, where the list is endless, but with good friends coming for supper tomorrow it was the ideal opportunity to prepare the food in advance.  Hopefully this will allow the flavours of the herbs and spices to develop. What is it I hear you ask? It's my take on a Spanish stew.
