C W Christmas Abbs

I had to go into Sheringham this afternoon to collect something and on the way up from the car park spotted this on a wall.  I have no idea who he was but he was clearly a well remembered local character, commemorated on the wall outside a Fish and Chip shop.

I was parked in a sea front car park right at the edge of the promenade and could really feel the car rocking as the wind blew in off the sea.  I’ve added an extra of the gulls who seemed to be the only ones thoroughly enjoying the weather.
