Goldfinch

I am very pleased to see a couple of these little chaps in the elder tree today as they have been absent for some time.

 It's been another day of ticking off the jobs.  We've booked our 2022 holiday on Shetland and Orkney, which we are very much looking forward to.  I've taken receipt of animal provisions from the Blue Barn, booked a breast screening appointment for next week, fed the Christmas cake and actually picked up my recorder for some practice.  It has been a while.  I've decided I must make the effort to get back to my regular activities which have been neglected for the last few months and which include catching up with blippals.
