Summer Colour

This morning we mowed the lawns and did the weed eating, so the garden looks great.  I then drove to Ballentyne Road and took photos of these lovely Californian Poppies by the Cardrona River.  The Oyster Catcher (extra 1), didn't like me being there, and certainly let me know with her endless screeching.

I had a shade walk before heading for home.  I still have 2K more steps to do, so will do them when it gets a bit cooler.  +23C.  A lovely summers day.
