Porridge on St Andrew's Day
I really fancied some porridge this morning and it was only hours after I'd eaten it that I realised it was St Andrew's Day! You can take the girl out of Scotland and all that.... I then made a few little pots to soak overnight for breakfast for the next few days. The ones for tomorrow have porridge mixed with a little honey, milk and Greek yogurt and topped with a little peanut butter, a little jam, fresh raspberries and chopped cashews. Let's see what Bb and Thomas think of them!
Rest of the day : Aptis; 5 year gas boiler obligatory-by-law inspection (surprisingly all fine, despite our recent breakdown); applied for another Aptis special project and hope it won't be as tedious as the one finished last week ; went over the final grades for the Madrid course which finished today and approved the grades; agreed on dates for part - time online Celtas for next year (new offering by the Centre in Switzerland); email catch up; walk in the evening and then chilli for dinner - it's handy having a few portions in the freezer. Watched the 2nd half of the film Wild Rose -- quite enjoyed it. It's not Bb's cup of tea, so was taking advantage of him being out for dinner again tonight, a work dinner, with Thomas and Esther.
Was happy to see this blip on my evening walk, just when I was thinking I hadn't taken any photos all day.
