Pair of Mallard Ducks

They look as though they're on a green carpet, along with the autumn leaves - but that's all pondweed, and we're walking the towpath of the Cromford Canal (from Cromford and back again) The extra photo shows a stretch of the canal which is clear, plus an old pumphouse associated with the canal
