Water dragon

Lots of them in the village this year. This and two others were up on the little stone bridge to get the last of the warmth from the rocks before sunset.  They hardly budged as I passed them and this one was so close
I could have reached out and touched him/her.  Only a slight tilt of the head for better scrutiny as he decided whether I was friend or foe.
