View from the tower

I had a walk around the village this morning, it was much warmer and lovely to see the sun.  This is a view from the castle tower, the doves were taking in the rays from their perch on top of the gatehouse.

This afternoon I went to the Euro dancing.  The part of the hall where we were standing was really cold (it was warmer outside).  In the dancer's part there is a fire but with windows and doors open and no heater near us it was decidedly chilly.  We can't get close to the dancers because of the Covid risk even though we're all asked to test before going. Extra layers is the answer..
