Visitor

Another dull day. All the snow has melted in town, and probably in the hills, but they were in cloud. There was still some ice on Valleyfield Pond, and it also had a visitor.

I learned later on a residents' FB page that the swan was found wandering the streets of the housing estate next to the pond. Perhaps it doesn't have enough ice-free water to take off.
