Covid update
Monday 29th
182 new community cases - 167 Auckland, 10 Waikato, 5 Northland
93 in hospital, with 10 in intensive care
Today the first active covid case since 2020 has been confirmed in the Nelson/Tasman region.
At 4pm the government announced the traffic light colour for each region as NZ moves to the new system at 11.59pm Thursday 2nd December. All of the South Island will move to orange level.

Tuesday 30th
134 new community cases - 116 Auckland, 8 Waikato, 1 Northland, 9 Bay of Plenty. 
89 in hospital, with 9 in intensive care
There are another 2 cases in Nelson/Tasman, but a technical error means they will be included with Wednesday’s figures.
