Snowy outlook

There was a sprinkling of snow this morning but not much - it was cold though, -3. Beautiful views as I drove to Cheltenham - the pale light and subtle colours were just beautiful but there was nowhere suitable to stop to get any photos - I was on a mission to get there, sort out the problem and get back to work for the afternoon.

It turned out that the loud noise was coming from the extractor fan in the downstairs bathroom, and the only way I could find to isolate it was to turn off the fuse for the downstairs light circuit. At least now we know the cause, we can get an electrician in to repair or replace it. I also turned the stairlift off fully as that had been beeping as well. I then tried ti make sure everything else was off as well - I don’t want to be doing this again if I can help it! The visit also allowed me to take a meter reading - Octopus don’t seem to be getting the message that there’s no-one living there and keep sending huge bills.

I got to work just in time so I ate my lunch at my desk and got on with the week. Tiring day but worth doing. I just hope we can sell the property soon as it’s a bit of a pain it being so far away from us all.
