2021 Thursday — Thanksgiving

Ten of us had a very enjoyable afternoon and evening at our granddaughter Ashly’s home. Her husband Robert did much of the holiday cooking, and little RJ entertained us. They live in a “Next Gen” style home with Robert’s parents.

“Next Gen” is technically two houses in one (the house has a commons area which is downstairs in the middle and it includes a large kitchen, a dining room, a large living room and a half-bathroom for guests; the younger family has a living area upstairs where there are 5 bedrooms, which includes a master bedroom and a guest bedroom, and 3 bathrooms. The grandparents have a wing of the house downstairs that includes a small living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom and their own patio courtyard.

The other guests for dinner were Ashly’s dad, John and Robert’s little brother Michael and his fiancé Kelli, and of course Robert’s parents, Bob & Trina, who live there.
