Saltaire
This is saltaire Park. Saltaire was founded in 1851 by Sir Titus Salt an industrial leader in the woolen trade in Yorkshire. He built a model village for his employee's to live in. In 2001 the site was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Salt Mill its self is today a trade and commerce center and houses A David Hockney exhibition. Hockney was born in Bradford and also owns and for some of the year lives in Bridlington which is where I live, in fact his house is just round the corner from where my sister Miss Tracy lives, and my husband has done plumbing work for him so you may say that we are plumbers to the stars. In the past we have worked in Robert Palmer (addicted to love) parents house, Fred GEE who used to be in Coronation Street and dare we say it Jimmy Saville's apartment.
Hope everyone has had a good Easter and not eaten too many chocolate eggs.
