A long walk

While the cleaners were here this afternoon, I went to Costco and spent an hour walking around the store, so I got my exercise for the day.  I didn't buy much beyond the two items I really needed, but it was interesting to see how many items were there that were intended to be given as gifts for Christmas.  I'd like to make a gift to myself of a shower caddy that's just what I've been looking for, but it's too tall and too heavy for me to manage by myself.  Perhaps when he returns from Hawaii Doug can go there with me and bring it home.  I'm waiting to hear from Lex, letting me know that they've arrived safely and are finding their vacation home comfortable.  They certainly have needed this time away.

This tree was near my car in the Costco parking lot.  It had a sort of wintry feeling that I liked.
