Christmas

This morning I went to cut the toenails of the lady who lost her husband last week. Sadly there has to be an inquest as he died due to complications after a fall. But the new travel restrictions may mean her grandson cannot go to the funeral as he is due to arrive the day before. The other grandson flys to Cyprus the next day to spend Christmas with his wife’s family who live there.
Had. Coffee with. Friend who ‘escaped’ for a couple hours as her daughter was staying . Sh3 sat with had dad so mum could go out. He is very poorly and is terminal. Just a matter of time .
She was glad of the chat and coffee and we laughed. I told her she could have my right ear as a friend had my left one this morning.
