Barn (after) Storm

The snow still lies on the Cotswold escarpment and the accompanying chill chased us around the valley today.

We had a long and lovely video conversation with an old friend in Scotland. It was good to talk, for sure.

Later we went to our local farm shop to review their Christmas trees and stock up our freezer, not that it was really necessary today, due to the wind chill!

Mask wearing was sporadic today. Tomorrow it becomes mandatory again in England, bringing it into line with existing regulations in other U.K. nations.

A voluntary night shift awaits this evening.
