A view of the view

Yesterday you got a view from the Shard & today you get a view of the Shard.

This morning we did the Eye, great views from there & then this afternoon it was time for Mr K's birthday present - a trip along the Thames up to the Thames Barrier on a Thames Rib (James Bond stylee speed boat that seats 12 plus captain & guide). It was bitterly cold, even without taking into account the low river temperatures & the icy wind, but it was great fun, especially on the return with the wind behind us and the wintery sun on our backs.
