Anythings possible

Didn't sleep very well, kept on waking up, think it was because I had set an early alarm, as I needed to be in Manchester for a dentists appointment. 

Up and ready, outside defrosting the car at 8am, it was completely iced over, had to yank the door open! Left the engine running whilst I ate my porridge watching out the front window, not that we ever get any car thief passersby in a cul de sac ;-) Hub wouldn't have been impressed with me….his insurance background wouldn't allow him to leave his vehicle running, with the keys in it!! ;-) 

On the road by 8.15……traffic wasnt too bad, temperature was -3 degrees. My windscreen was filthy by the time I got into the City, my washers were frozen….but by the time Id spent 40 minutes in the dentists chair and walked back, they had defrosted, unlike my top lip lol!!! I am really pleased with my filling, she even managed to realign one of my off centre teeth and with a lovely new filling, happy days! 

Took this blip on my way back to the car……a cold slightly snowy scene, you can see some of the Christmas market food stalls in the background. 

£7.90 for 1-2 hours parking ….daylight robbery! 
Drove home, still -1 degrees.  Went straight to Costa for a coffee and a fajita wrap, as it was almost midday……not enough time to go home,  make lunch and be ready to start work at 1pm. 
Managed to eat and drink, just, and not embarrass myself lol! 

Work was ok today, on top of things again now, did work 50 minutes over though :-/ 

Hadn't given any thought to my evening meal…..ended up making a quick carbonara, always easy and tasty……and decided that I would give camera club a miss tonight, having done the journey to Manchester up the East Lancs road once this morning! 

Watched the remainder of the Bake off episodes, really enjoyable!  

Its now almost 11pm……just noticed its raining, so it must have warmed up slightly. Ive got a lot of stuff to do tomorrow, not seeing my sis until Friday this week.
