Over The Brige

Year 2 Day 251 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK/World Vaccine 355 days ago.  UK open. Overseas travel with restrictions.

Another day with a lot of travelling;  firstly to drop off a birthday present/card for grandson Isaac who lives in Frome, Somerset, with his dad who works from home. After a catch up we headed the few miles to Rode to visit my uncle and aunt. My uncle John (my mum's brother) is terminally ill and is confined to bed as unable to move and has constant nursing care. He's in his last days; it's sad to see him so ill. He just wants to 'go'.

Mid afternoon we were back over The Second Severn Crossing to pick up granddaughter Amelia from pre-school at 4.30pm. The bridge is the only photo' I've taken today as we've been so busy rushing about.
