The Pier and the Rainbow

A and I headed into Cromer this morning.  While the helpful man at Halfords fitted a new wiper blade to my car, we walked along to the pier where we enjoyed our coffee. I photographed this cheery starling who perched on the wire in front of us, hoping for cake crumbs (see extra).  We then walked along the promenade towards Overstrand until the end of the beach huts and were on our way back when the sky darkened and this beautiful rainbow appeared.  The other extra is the approaching rain.  We sheltered from the short shower under the RNLI museum porch  before a spot of high street retail therapy on our way back to collect the car.  A most enjoyable morning.
