Steady Snow …

… is making it difficult for my chamois friends, see extras. They are staying in the forest now as there is less depth of snow there and it is easier to pull leaves from the lower branches than dig through the snow to the grass. These are the lucky woodland chamois. Up in the mountains the depth of snow will be considerably more and there are avalanche warnings out for the valley up to Anzeindaz where I often go for chamois and bouquetin observation.

I hope those who had damage and electricity cuts with Arwen are safe and warm again.
