Hampton Ferry, Evesham.....

This is the ferry which has been here since the family moved here in 1929, today the main users for this ferry is the owners of the holiday homes over the river.
They had snail racing yesterday but we never moved out the van so we didn't see the sprinting sessions of the Gastropoda that were gathered there to take part.
It is believed that the last past the post was still racing when we fast asleep in the van.
