Winter

A beautiful sunrise this morning, but it took me an eternity to defrost the car. I dropped Sarah at the wildlife rescue and went to the supermarket, only to find the car park required Torvill and Dean skills - I made it in without breaking a hip, but coming back out with a full trolley was a challenge!

We had planned to be off to the theatre in Manchester tonight, but neither of us could face it so I cancelled. Meanwhile John was supposed to be going to Paris for a meeting later in the week but good old Boris has scuppered it - I am hugely relieved!
