The Return Home

We headed back home from Stirling to a warm house and all systems working normally.

Our trees had lost a few twigs and most of the leaves. However all was well.

The news from Ballater remains gloomy and it will be a few days before we can return to pick up our gear and perhaps stay a day or two.

The damage to the electricity supply remains extensive although repairs are ongoing. The technicians repairing lines and replacing broken pylons are working as hard and as quickly as conditions allow. They are true heros.

Today’s Blipfoto is of books! Something of an emergency blip. However I like the title of "The Big Chill". I can also confirm that nowhere in her letters does Jane Austen complain about disrupted power supplies!
