view from the top

Today I faced my demon hill. Granted it is not a big hill by most standards but to me, when I have not cycled it for 6 months is a mount everest. Any way I made it to the top and some stunning views which ever way you look.

There is still snow on the mountains and a bitterly cold wind.

Todays cycle ride took me 11 miles. I did intend 15 but it wasn't to be today with an average speed of 10.5. I was pleased with this given it was mostly against the wind.

I will aim for 15 miles next week.
