First

I was leading worship at Cumbernauld United Reformed Church this morning and we lit the first of the Advent candles. The other red ones will be lit on the next three Sundays before Christmas and the white one on Christmas morning, just after midnight. Took this photo after the service as I wasn't sure I'd get the opportunity to take any more photos today.

That's actually how things turned out, as I spent the rest of the afternoon visiting some people from my own church and delivering newsletters to others followed by a lazy evening at home.
