Granddad’s...

... nativity :) I loved admiring it downstairs at my granny’s flat, later my children loved admiring it there too :) It had its place there till 2003... In the summer 2004 my granny (granddad was already gone) exchanged her flat with my sister’s smaller flat so that she and her growing family didn’t have to move out of our house.... so since 2004 the nativity had found its place in my parents flat upstairs and everyone admired it there :) Last year, it got a special place right next to dad’s nursing bed but there had been only a few days left for him to enjoy it :/ So, this year, mum wanted it to be placed in the hallway so that everyone who comes upstairs can admire it :) And everyone does :) It is very special and always makes me feel close to my grandparents and to my dad :)
