The Rovers Return

My colleague, Martin, came down from the Kendal office, today, to do an ISO 27001 inspection of the new office. While that in itself may not sound very exciting, I was rather looking forward to it as I thought the occasion might lend itself to a pint after work*.

And indeed it did! We shut up shop at four-thirty and went over the road to The Rovers Return for a couple of pints before Martin needed to catch the train home. I've known Martin for nearly twenty-five years, and he's great pub company; a natural storyteller. On this occasion, he told the Minx and I about a trip he and his wife took to Greece when they were in their twenties. (It was very entertaining, despite his wife ending up with a broken leg!)

*This is something that is not possible in Kendal as everyone drives home.
