Date night interruptus

An invitation for the girls to an evening play date and movie night triggered rapid plans on our part for dining out in downtown Ventura. Predictably enough, the four hour window shrank profoundly as fatigue and emotion got the better of the girls and they had to come home early ☹️. Still managed a decent meal and a gulped glass of vino.
