The party last night was amazing, like an elaborate wedding event - black tie, cocktails, full Thanksgiving Dinner with turkey and all the trimmings, dancing to Abba tribute band, and fireworks (luckily the sky had cleared, but it was bitterly cold).  We left as the disco got going, long after our bed time.  We did get to meet a few neighbours.

Then totally coincidentally another neighbour invited us for drinks and nibbles at lunchtime today and we met most of the other people who live on this hill.  There are clearly two "sets" because we were the only people today who had also gone last night and today's "set" wanted to know all about it!

The temperature didn't rise above freezing today, so the garden sculptures had snow hats.  And it's just snowed another couple of inches as it got dark.
