The Good Life

My Dear Princess and Dear Friends,

This feels like the first day in ages where I was not going somewhere or doing something or not recovering from going somewhere and doing something.

I made the most of it by spending quality time with Caro. I have really missed her and plus also by the way she has started wearing these adorable dungarees.

I have NO IDEA why I love her in dungarees so much. Caro is equally astonished. "They are just for slurping around the house," she protested. For some reason they just make me want to chase her around the house.

And then it hit me.

FELICITY KENDALL.

She is like my little Barbara Good. So I've been all over her like Richard Briers drunk on nettle wine.

"Right. I'm ordering some more," said Caro. "They are eighteen bucks from The Warehouse."

Even better.

In the evening we watched "Get Back". As we are both huge Beatles fans, we loved it. And then we watched "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" and as we are both fans of silly monster films we loved that too.

But not as much as those dungarees. Eighteen bucks from The Warehouse, I'm telling ya.

S.
