I fooouuuund one!

The mountain version of mamei. Perhaps my favorite tropical fruit - mamei is remniscent of an avocado in its texture and oily richness but graces us with a subtle sweetness and flavor unlike any other. The sandy skin is thin and flaky, the seed divine in its yoni-esque form. The vibrancy of the orange flesh leaves one aghast. This one is for Chelsea Rae.
