Curling

I had quite a full day of curling, although I wasn't on the ice at all. Up early to take E and J for their first game against another junior team at Lanarkshire ice rink for 9am start. Both teams played well with EK juniors winning by a small margin; smiley faces all round.  Later in the afternoon, I spent two hours watching Bruce Mouat's Scottish men's team win the European gold medal, playing against one of the worlds best teams, Niklas Edin from Sweden.  Since I didn't have a blip for today, I tried an ICM shot from the TV. It would have been better if I had been on the sidelines in person, but some days you have to take what you can get.
