Snow, appalling weather and my Christmas cactus.

The wind has been 100 miles an hour in Northumberland.  A huge tree has blocked the Durham Road. The gable end of a house fell off and crushed a car in Sunderland. At Crimdon the  caravan park was evacuated because some caravans were wrecked.  Roofs were ripped off houses in Hartlepool.  All these places are within 25 miles of here. 
However my Christmas cactus is happy. 
At the moment the wind has dropped but it is snowing.
