Switch on the lights

We braved the drizzle and cold to meet up with some of my family at the local Christmas “carnival”.

L won a bear on the Hook a Santa and went on a little fire engine carousel ride with her cousin. The grown ups had a mulled wine to battle the chill.

The fireworks were cancelled due to the weather, which we realised after wondering why they hadn’t started yet. But it was nice to support a local event.
