Wintry (Day 2394)

An email last night with a little query about an issue with the en-suite I finished yesterday meant that after the early morning trip to Tesco I was heading to Orphir. The gales had eased a little overnight, but it was still bitterly cold and there was a light dusting of snow and hail on the road. The en-suite problem was quickly dealt with and I slithered back home to my beautiful wife.
It wasn't long before we were off out to Stromness to do hoss chores, luckily avoiding the hail showers that swept past us.
Home for a ridiculously large lunch then off to Lyde with Sigyn. She was in a mischievous mood, as she always is when there is a bit of snow around. Chasing her around was a good way to keep warm. It snowed heavily as we headed home.
HV zoomed back to Stromness leaving me to exterminate a couple of annoying draughts and to fix the oven.
