A Hard Night
Last night was the coldest of the winter so far, dropping to minus 11. Tonight is heading in the same direction. The day was bright and cheerful but never got any warmer than Minus 8 which is what it was when I shot this. Tiny twigs which had fallen from a tree, turned into a miniature ice tree on the floor beside the lake, which itself was frozen hard enough to walk on at least close to the shore.
