It’s been a bitterly cold day with some sleet this morning. Did my shift at the food bank this morning- we had lots of donations. People have been really generous. Went to the local curtain shop and arranged for them to come and quote for the kitchen blinds and then walked to Lady Bay to collect a John Lewis parcel. New post box topper outside the PO. Discovered a new clothes and gift shop and cafe so bought anew top and had coffee and cake. Was going to go up to the Avenue for the lights switch on and Christmas market but it was far too cold so stayed in and didmore sorting and cleaning. Nice fireworks at 6pm though.
