‘Snow on the Ochils’

parkrunday again today. 

The increasingly lurid weather forecasts for wind and rain that were centred on ‘Storm Arwen’, culminating with a ‘red warning’ for parts of East Coast Scotland, meant that around a third of all parkruns here had been cancelled by first thing this morning. 

In the event, we woke up this morning to a beautifully clear and sunny day. Breezy at Cramond - and some white horses on the water - yes! But the gales has gone!

And we got our first view of snow capped distant hills across the Forth!
