A rather dreich day...

...at the tail end of Storm Arwen, so we've decided we're staying indoors...
It would be silly not to ;) 

The snow battered our window during the night, and we had thunder and lightning too. No structural damage though, so all good! The collage shows the progress of the snow through the day...

Trish and Gus delayed their departure until after lunch, when the snow stopped and the strength of the wind decreased. They had the option to stay another night, but decided they had a weather window to make a quick dash north at about 1.30pm. It's due to be icy cold tomorrow, so it was probably a good move - just had a message to say they have arrived home sns, with only a spot of sleet to contend with - phew!
