Blown Along


Awake most of the night not by the storm raging outside just my usual insomnia.
Struggling with a lot of things at the moment.
Listened to some music , read a bit, caught up on your journals.
After three hours l got up , made myself a cuppa and a slice of buttered, toasted panettone.
Filled a hot water bottle even though the house was warm and went back to bed.
Dozed on and off for a few hours and got up very late morning.
Snow on the moors but the overnight slush in the village has melted.
Looks like we have some trees down in the village and our television transmitter is having problems so we are currently without TV…. guys, just  get it working in time for Strictly !
It’s the annual switch on of the Christmas lights in the village this evening, most of the Christmas market has been cancelled (have heard Ilkley has cancelled their switch on completely) . What a shame as it’s the 40th anniversary of the village lights. Started with one strand of lights on the Christmas tree and this year there will be four miles of LED lights all paid for by ourselves through different fund raising events. 
More gift wrapping this afternoon for me and must find where l’ve put the cards away… in a safe place, so safe l can’t find them :-))
