Whale on the wall

I had to go back to the Christmas market this morning to exchange a hat I bought and this mural, or a very small part of it, caught my eye in the parking area. I couldn't get away quickly enough - the market was jam packed with people, unlike yesterday when it was quiet.
Weather-wise it's been a strange day - woke up to the ongoing strong winds, then we had a thunderstorm with lightning and rain, now it's sunny, hot and no wind! Good news is that with the short falls of rain we've had recently around Port Elizabeth our combined dam capacity has gone up from 11% to 13,3%. Still dangerously low, but day zero is now said to be January instead of December!
Have a good weekend wherever you are...there is much disappointment here in SA with family visits, sporting events, holiday bookings, all being cancelled due to the new Covid variant scare. If only more people would get vaccinated the looming crisis could be less severe.
