Light rain

We need the rain, but so far it has been very light so that the garden has had little benefit. Hopefully it will continue a while longer.

Yesterday would have been my mother's 101st birthday. She made it to 100 last year and received her card from the Queen. I think she would have appreciated this rose that I photographed for her.  She was fond of flowers.
