Proof the Easter Bunny doesn't visit everyone...
A friend and I headed to Halifax at the crack of dawn to FINALLY get some pre-dawn/sunrise pics. We decided to start on the MacDonald Bridge and get some images of both the Dartmouth and Halifax waterfronts.
This is a portion of the Halifax waterfront at the shipyards where, I'm guessing, war ships are built, repaired, loaded and stored.
We decided to return on the other side of the bridge, paying more attention to photo ops than anything else, and din't see the one sign that stated this side was for bike traffic. Suddenly a bridge authority vehicle comes roaring up with lights blazing, telling us we can't be on this side, why didn't we read the signs, 'don't we have signs where we come from', questioning what we are photographing, etc., etc., etc...
Suddenly a snappin' good time was pi$$ed on by a rent-a-cop. I asked Randy what timne it was and he said '7:05.' I was aware from the other side that cameras were monitoring the bridge - awesome!! Whomever was on the night shift could have cared a less what we were doing. The areshole who's house the Easter Bunny missed decided it was his job to make our day as crappy as his.
Imagine how much bike traffic there is pre-dawn on Easter Sunday... I guess I'm still in a bad mood!
