Sunshine and Showers

.....and don't we know it!

A lunchtime outing with Meg, down to the seafront where the noisy sea was whipped along by the northerly gales.  In shot a shower about to briefly obscure the sun but in true pantomime style, the message was to 'Look behind you'!    Meg and I raced home at the gallop, arriving just in time as the next frenzied squall hit.

No surprise.   It's been mostly an indoor day, laundry (another Meg night-time incident) and some sorting of stuff.   The round indoor/outdoor table is now indoors again, thirty years old now but having spent most of it's life indoors, it's in good nick.  The impact of six months outside has however convinced me that it's going to return to a mostly indoor life.

Nice tea at Jamie's, quiet evening in with him and Ruth before work this weekend.   Wonder if there will be fallen trees to clear up the line tomorrow.
