A walk in the woods

It was freezing cold this morning and the wind was gusting. No snow here but I think it probably did snow on the higher mountains as it was really cloudy and had rained during the night.

You know what happens when there are five big dogs going out and then coming in with wet feet. I might try to clean the floor tomorrow when it dries out a little.

Those dogs were happy to walk up on the hill behind the house with me. No one else wanted to brave the cold. In the trees there was hardly any wind but then no sunshine either. Surprising to see ferns still green and some other wild plants. A good walk that offered up some photo opportunities.

Thankful for the forest of trees and all the other plants that live there.
