Fuelling up

It was beginning to get a bit more blustery by lunchtime, so I was glad of a bowl of homemade soup before going out for my walk. 

It was still OK while I was out and the Botanics was still open, although they have cancelled their light show tonight because of the forecast storm; bit of a pity for them as they only just started their Christmas festivities last night.

The radio is now telling me we have to stay in tonight and batten down the hatches. Not that I was planning anything else anyway! Just hope the wind is not too noisy when we go to bed. 

Hope Storm Arwen doesn’t stay around too long.
