St Andrews Castle and West Sands

We were well wrapped up again for walking around St Andrews.  We investigated the 'perimeter' of the town from East Sands and The Shore round to the Old Course and West Sands.  

We dropped into the Wardlaw Museum which is rather good.   It has four exhibition rooms about the University and the research and discoveries that have been made there.  

We had a welcome break in front of the fires at Jigger Inn and later the Rusacks Hotel!  Then what seemed like a long drive back to Edinburgh in the dark.  Only one night away but it seems much longer!
